– The Play Group zu Besuch in unserer Schule
“Sleep no more, Macbeth does murder sleep…” (Macbeth)
As you can tell from this famous quote, our current topic in our English class is William Shakespeare. We have been reading and discussing Macbeth, one of his most famous plays, and try to understand the story and the meaning behind it. Reading Shakespeare can be quite difficult sometimes, but it is also really interesting to see how people thought and spoke hundreds of years ago.
To help us to get a better idea of how theatre worked in Shakespeare’s time, our school invited a theatre group called “The Play Group,” who came all the way from Italy to perform for us. The group consisted of three actors named Simon, Eddie, and Simon. All of them are native English speakers and very talented performers. What made their show special was that the three of them played all the characters. With just a few costumes and props, they managed to act out the whole story in a funny and impressive way.
All students from grades 9 to 12 were invited to watch the play. At first, many of us were not sure what to expect, but the performance quickly caught our attention. The actors were full of energy, and it was amazing to see how they switched between the different characters so easily. Even though the language in Macbeth is quite old and sometimes confusing, they made it easy to understand through their expressions and movements.
The play was not only entertaining but also very helpful for our studies. Watching the drama on stage made it much easier to follow than just reading it in the classroom. We could really feel the emotions of the characters: the ambition, the fear, and the guilt that drive Macbeth and his wife throughout the story. The actors also added some funny moments, which made everyone laugh and kept the atmosphere light and enjoyable.
Overall, the visit from The Play Group was a great experience and gave us the chance to understand Shakespeare in a new and exciting way. Most of us were surprised by how interesting and lively the performance was, even though the play was written such a long time ago. It was definitely one of the most special and memorable lessons we have had this year.

Macbeth – A Play by William Shakespeare
On 2nd October, a group of three actors visited our school and performed Macbeth, one of William Shakespeare’s famous tragedies. The group is originally from Great Britain but is now based in Italy and touring around Europe. We were lucky that our school was one of their stops.
The performance took place in the school hall and was organized by Mrs. Reilich and Mrs. Bunzeck. Even though there were only three actors, they played all the important roles very well by changing voices, costumes, and expressions. Some characters were cut from the original version, which made it easier to follow. The actors made the play very entertaining by adding jokes, interacting with the audience, and using funny sound effects.
Compared to reading the play as a graphic novel or watching a video, watching Macbeth live on stage was much more exciting. The emotions, movements, and expressions made the story feel real and alive.
The English they used was simple and easy to understand, which made it enjoyable for everyone, even for students who are not fluent yet. The performance was made for all age groups, especially for younger audiences.
In the end, we could take a photo with the actors, which was a great way to finish the event.
Overall, it was an enjoyable and special experience that we would definitely recommend.

On Thursday, 2nd October 2025, we welcomed “The Play Group“ at our school, to perform “the Scottish play “- also called “Macbeth“
The actors Eddie, Simon and Simon did a fantastic job, giving us an insight into Shakespeare’s play.
It was a really entertaining experience, because it was a good mix of Shakespeare and the influence of a younger generation, which made it an interesting adaptation.
They combined action, for example the sword fighting between Macduff and Macbeth, and humorous jokes to brighten up the play. Moreover, they worked with easier language and a narrator, to reassure the storyline was clear and understandable. With well-made costumes, sound effects and hand painted scenery it was nice to enjoy the play and to learn English as well.
All roles were played by the same three men, which was common in the theatres in the 16th century. So we somehow felt like experiencing a visit to “Globe Theatre “. To strengthen this feeling, the play included some volunteering and the “royal Lady “Jolina and “Lord“ Lennox managed this quite professionally. The interaction with the audience made the play even more lifelike.
It is important to show this play in schools because of the topics this play deals with. Human traits like greed, violence and guilt are shown but also topics which sadly are important even today, like the abuse of power and wars.
The performance is perfect for grades 6-9, because the play was obviously made for younger students, notably because of the length, which was quite short for a Shakespeare play, and the easy language, as already said. It was not the original script, but some important quotes were from the original text, which presented a nice contrast.
In the end it was a really nice experience and just recommendable because of the interesting combination and a new way of practising English. It was a welcome change from the typical English lessons, which are still a good way of learning.
We would love to welcome the “The Play Group“ again, to watch another excellently played adaptation and have fun again while interacting in the play.

Guter 4. Platz im Kreisfinale
Die U15 Mannschaft des Schinkel-Gymnasiums hat sich am 09.10.2025 wacker mit weiteren neun Schulen aus dem Kreis duelliert und einen guten 4. Platz belegt.
In der Vorrunde konnte man Siege gegen das Gymnasium Wittstock (2:1) und die Polthier-Oberschule Wittstock (3:0) einfahren. Weitere Unentschieden gegen die Fontane-Oberschule (1:1) und die Puschkin-Oberschule (0:0) brachten unser Team ins Halbfinale. Dort musste man sich dem Gymnasium Kyritz mit 0:2 geschlagen geben. Im anschließenden Spiel um Platz 3 war die Puschkin-Oberschule erneuter Gegner. Auch hier endete die reguläre Spielzeit ohne Torerfolg auf beiden Seiten. Im abschließenden Elfmeterschießen hatte der Gegner das Glück etwas mehr auf seiner Seite.

"Schinkel United“
"Schinkel United“ – Karl-Friedrich-Schinkel-Gymnasium feiert Schulfest voller Kreativität, Sportgeist und Gemeinschaft
Mit dem Motto „Schinkel United“ setzte das Karl-Friedrich-Schinkel-Gymnasium Neuruppin in seiner diesjährigen Projektwoche vom 16.07. – 22.07. ein klares Zeichen für Zusammenhalt, Vielfalt und Kreativität. In der Woche vor dem großen Schulfest arbeiteten Schülerinnen und Schüler klassen- und stufenübergreifend an Projekten, die sich mit Themen aus Kunst, Gesellschaft, Technik, Geschichte, Handwerk und Sport beschäftigten. Das Ergebnis war ein lebendiges und gemeinschaftliches Schulfest, welches als Höhepunkt der Projektwoche am 22.07. und als Abschluss des Schuljahres gefeiert wurde.
Der Ursprung: Schülerwünsche ernst genommen
Die Idee zu dieser besonderen Woche und dem Fest entstand bereits zu Beginn des Schuljahres im Rahmen einer Umfrage unter den Schülerinnen und Schüler. Ziel der Befragung war es, das Arbeitsklima und das allgemeine Wohlbefinden an der Schule nachhaltig zu verbessern. Neben anderen Ideen sollte somit auch die gemeinsame, besondere Projektwoche und das Schulfest umgesetzt werden. Es wurde ein motiviertes Komitee aus Schülern und Lehrkräften gebildet, unter der Leitung von Sophie Bachmann, Lehrerin für Deutsch und Geografie. Mit großem Engagement übernahm die Gruppe die gesamte Organisation der Projektwoche und des Schulfests – mit sichtbarem Erfolg.
Ein Fest der Vielfalt
Ob kreative Mitmachaktionen wie T-Shirts bemalen, Origami falten oder Armbänder knüpfen, sportliche Herausforderungen beim Kistenklettern, Zielwerfen beim Handball oder Torwandschießen, spannende Stationen wie ein BMX-Parcours, ein Schachturnier oder ein Boxautomat – für jeden Geschmack war etwas dabei. Besonders beeindruckend war die Beteiligung von externen Partnern: Polizei, Feuerwehr und die Suchtprävention boten mit Einsatzwagen, Rauschbrillen und Informationsmaterial anschauliche Einblicke in ihre Arbeit und standen für Gespräche bereit.
Kunst, Musik und ein starkes Wir-Gefühl
Ein Highlight war die Vernissage von Dante Purcaru, der selbst einst Schüler des Schinkel-Gymnasiums war. Seine Werke wurden feierlich präsentiert und stießen auf großes Interesse. Musikalisch sorgte die Schulband für Stimmung, während Schüler und Lehrer bei einem Mitmach-Dance-Act gemeinsam das Tanzbein schwangen – ein Symbol für das gelebte Miteinander an der Schule.
Kulinarisch versorgt wurde das Fest durch einen externen Grillstand, einen Eisstand und einen Getränkewagen. Der elfte Jahrgang organisierte einen Kuchenbasar, ergänzt durch Crêpes.
Schülerzeitschrift dokumentiert die Woche
Das Redaktionsteam der „Schinkelreporter“ begleitete die gesamte Projektwoche journalistisch und gestaltete eine Schülerzeitschrift. Darin kommen die Projekte mit Bildern, die Hintergründe und auch die Stimmen der Beteiligten eindrucksvoll zur Geltung. „Die Zeitschrift soll damit nachhaltig die Vielfalt der Projekte festhalten. Der Gedanke der Gemeinschaft lässt sich darin gut erkennen“, so Lina David. Die Deutsch- und Biologielehrerin leitete das Projekt der Zeitung.
Ein starkes Zeichen zum Schluss
Den Höhepunkt des Schulfests bildete ein gemeinsames Drohnenfoto: Alle Schülerinnen und Schüler stellten sich so auf, dass das Kürzel des Schulnamens von oben sichtbar wurde. Ein kraftvolles Symbol für das Motto „Schinkel United“ – und den spürbaren Zusammenhalt, der in dieser Woche gewachsen ist.

Hallo an alle, die den Müll hier lesen !
Vor genau 518400 Sekunden haben wir etwas Weltbewegendes getan. WIR WAREN MÜLL SAMMELN ! Von Autoreifen bis Zigaretten war alles dabei. Unter anderem hat sich Simone ein neues Paar Schuhe zugelegt, welches ihr im ersten Bild betrachten könnt.
Man könnte meinen, wir wollen ausziehen. Mit den SCHICKEN und modernen Möbeln, die wir gefunden haben, wäre das definitiv möglich.
Passend zum gemütlichen Flair passen natürlich auch die Kellerasseln, Schnecken und Spinnen, die als Mitbringsel der Nature in schönes Geschenk zum Einzug ergeben. Würde man sich die Warnwesten wegdenken, könnte man meinen, wir hätten die neuen Penner von Neuruppin entdeckt. Wohlbemerkt sind es jedoch nur Nele, Luisa und Inga auf der Suche nach dem großen Schatz.
Huhu,
wir, die Klasse 9d, hatten am 19.09.2025 den hygienischsten Freitag unserer Schullaufbahn. Wir waren in Wäldern, Büschen und Wiesen und mit Einkaufswagen unterwegs, denn wir haben die Umwelt von eurem Dreck befreit. Wir haben uns durch Gebüsche gekämpft, um die Natur von Vapes, Schuhen, Binden und einem Lattenrost zu befreien.
Liu, Simone, Marlene und Alicia waren so mit Herzblut dabei, dass sie sich für unsere Umwelt in Tarzan verwandelten. Nach vielen anstrengenden Stunden, rund 70 Nervenzusammenbrüchen, 10 Heulanfällen und mindestens 100 zerrissenen Handschuhen wurde die Natur vom Müll befreit.
Wir danken allen, die ihre Kippen, Schuhe, Einkaufswägen, Vapes und Glasflaschen in die Welt geworfen haben, denn dank euch hatten wir kein Mathe.

Sportfest für unsere 7. Klassen
Am Freitag, den 26.09.25, fand das traditionelle Leichtathletiksportfest der 7. Klassen des Schinkel- Gymnasiums statt. Nach Erwärmung mit Musik wetteiferten alle Schülerinnen und Schüler in den Disziplinen Weitsprung, 60m- Lauf, Ballweitwurf und Kugelstoßen. Zum Abschluss liefen die 4 Klassen (je 2 Mädchen und Jungen) in einem Staffellauf gegeneinander.
